Public Hearings

Public Hearings are held to identify and address concerns relating to a proposed amendment to the Land Use Bylaw and/or a proposed development.  These meetings are open to the general public and are typically held in the Council Chambers at the Municipal District's administration office during regular Council or Municipal Planning Commission meetings, unless otherwise advertised.


DATE OF HEARING: NOVEMBER 10, 2009

Bylaw 1593   Proposes to redesignate a portion of the subject lands from “Rural General - RG” to “Rural Industrial - RI” to accommodate the subdivision of 5 acres of land from the existing 80 acres for rural industrial use by Haze Farms Ltd. (applicant).  

DATE OF HEARING: October 21, 2009

Bylaw 1592   Proposes to redesignate the subject lands from “Rural  General - RG” to “Grouped Country Residential - GCR” to accommodate the subdivision of 5 acres of land from the existing 65.5 acres for country residential use by Andrew & Jane Feyter (applicants).

Bylaw 1585  Proposes to amend Bylaw 1250, being the Land Use Bylaw, by deleting the following text “within the vicinity of the Pine Coulee Reservoir” from the intent of the Rural Recreational – RR land use district (Schedule 1) .

Bylaw 1584 Proposes to amend Bylaw 1250, being the Land Use Bylaw, by redesignating 5 acres of land locaed within SE 14-13-26-4 from “Rural General - RG” to “Vacant Country Residential - VCR” to accommodate the subdivision of 5 acres of bareland for country residential use by Monica & Victor Raynolds (applicants).

Bylaw 1566  Proposes to amend bylaw 1566, being the Municipal Development Plan, by adding Policies 4.6.32 and 4.6.33 which will allow the Municipal District to accommodate vacant single lot country residential subdivisions within the municipality.

Bylaw 1559   Proposes to increase the minimum lot size required for a newly created serviced residential lot, under                            the ‘Grouped Country Residential – GCR’ Land Use District designation, from one acre to three acres

Bylaw 1525    Proposes to amend Land Use Bylaw 1250 by redesignating lands described as a portion of NW 13-15-26 W4,  portion of SW 13-15-26 W4, all of NE 14-15-26 W4 and all of SE14-15-26 W4 from “Reservoir Vicinity – RV” and “Rural General – RG” to ”Grouped Country Residential – GCR” to accommodate a planned residential subdivision by Twin Valley Resort (applicant).
