Burning Permits

Effective August 23/11 burn permits are not available until further notice.

Permits are obtained either in person or by fax.

Note: Permits are note valid unless they are signed.

The following are the permittee's responsibility:

keep all burns under control at all times,
must contact Foothills EMS at 1-888-808-3722 with their fire permit number prior to lighting and when the burn is completed,
if more than one day is required to burn, Foothills EMS must be contacted each day of burn.

In the event of an open fire ban, all permits issued are considered void and no new permits will be issued.

Note: Failure to acquire a fire permit could result in a huge fire bill.

Please call the Municipal District Office for Fire Permit Status. Please note that this status changes with the changing weather conditions.
