OBJECTIVE

The objective of Disaster Services is to provide for a prompt and coordinated response to emergencies affected The Municipal District of Willow Creek No. 26.

A Municipal Emergency Plan was developed to give direction for any emergency, such as flooding on Willow Creek, Oldman River, Waterton River, Belly River, and Pine Coulee Dam; sour gas release; severe weather; grass wildfire; dangerous goods road accidents; and aircraft accidents.

This Emergency Plan is reviewed once a year and updated as required.
