The M.D. of Willow Creek hosted an Open House on February 26 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Granum School to discuss matters related to the Granum Dissolution. We thank all who attended this event.
Council and municipal staff was on hand to answer questions pertaining to local governance as well as services offered by the M.D. of Willow Creek including: utilities, taxes, assessment, bylaw, fire and emergency services, community institutions, governance, representation, and public infrastructure.
Those in attendance were offered the ability to complete a questionnaire and provide comments on the event as well as their concerns regarding infrastructure or services. Three of the submitted questionnaires were drawn by the Reeve from those submitted with $100 gift cards being awarded to those who submitted them.
The Council wishes to express its gratitude to the 75 citizens who attended this event – the information you provided through the conversations will aid us as we make decisions for the 2020 budget year.
