Alberta Safety Codes Information
Alberta Safety Codes are administered by the Alberta Safety Codes Council. The M.D. of Willow Creek is accredited in all Safety Code Disciplines including building, plumbing, electrical and fire and it has a contract with Superior Safety Codes who undertakes the issuance of permits and undertakes inspections.
If any citizen has concerns regarding potential code misinterpretation please contact the the Community and Technical Support branch of Municipal Affairs who will provide code interpretation on Alberta’s safety codes and can connect you with someone familiar with each code as well as the safety codes system.
